Job Description:
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care. Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology and patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing safe quality nursing care to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Operating room experience is prefered
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Perioperative Nursing/Registered Nurses - Advanced Certificate or equivalent
Other Information
- This position requires shift work and call on evenings and weekends
- Applicants may be considered and if accepted be enrolled in the OR course.
