Job Description

A private practice in Broome is seeking a full-time or part-time vocationally registered general practitioner with an interest in primary care and urgent care to work across private practice and the co located urgent care clinic.

Broome is 2045km north of Perth and has a population of 18,360 (2022).

The Practice

The practice offers a primary care experience in a prominently private billing practice. 

The urgent care clinic offers acute, episodic care and treatment for conditions that need urgent, but not life-threatening care. It is a walk-in, bulk billing clinic. 

The practice is open 7 days a week, 8am to 4pm.

The practice is located ten minutes from anywhere in Broome, guaranteeing a short work commute and easy access to Broome’s most extraordinary destinations and experiences, including world-famous Cable Beach.

The Requirements

• Vocational Registration with Fellowship of  the FRACGP or ACRRM or equivalent 
• Previous experience in Emergency care, urgent care clinic or rural general practice
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS)
• No evening shifts, night shifts or on-call
