Practice Details & Role Overview:
This position is located in Heywood, Victoria with an Aboriginal Health Practice. Heywood is a family-oriented town, known for its strong sense of community and connectedness. It is close to the beach and offers serene country living. The facilities you will work in, include a new health clinic which is currently under construction and is expected to be completed later this year.
Role Overview & Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of health conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, consultations, and examinations for patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with patients and their families, to promote health and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with best practice standards and regulatory requirements.
Your Essential Competencies:
- AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Degree Qualified Doctor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting community health and wellbeing
- Experience or interest in rural and remote healthcare is desirable
