A very well-established, community-focused medical practice located in the heart of Kyabram is looking for an extra GP. They are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare to a diverse local population.
With a supportive team, including 10 GPs, they continue to grow and are seeking a dedicated GP to join the practice and contribute to the health and wellbeing of the community.
About Your Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced General Practitioner. This is a full-time, permanent role offering the opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped clinic with a wide variety of patient cases. The position involves:
- Providing high-quality, patient-focused general medical care.
- Diagnosing and treating a range of conditions across all age groups, with a focus on an elderly demographic.
- Building strong, ongoing relationships with patients and their families.
- Collaborating with a supportive and friendly team of healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and complying with medical standards.
- Participating in the development of health initiatives and community health promotion.
- Supervising Registrars or IMGs as required
- Accessing opportunities for learning and development, including GP anaesthetics, general surgery, and women’s health.
Your Desired Skills & Experience:
- MBBS or equivalent with unrestricted specialist AHPRA registration
- Fellowed with an accredited GP training organisation
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and providing comprehensive, high-quality medical services.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in rural or regional practice (preferred but not essential).
- Interest in specific areas of healthcare such as chronic disease management, aged care, or minor surgical procedures.
- Ability to work autonomously but also seek guidance when required.
