About Us
Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) works collaboratively with partners to improve access to high quality services for First Nations, Inuit and Métis. Our vision is to support and empower Indigenous peoples to independently deliver services and address the socio-economic conditions in their communities.
What We Offer
With ISC, your work becomes your inspiration. ISC nurses face a unique set of challenges, meaning every day is a new opportunity to grow personally and professionally. As an ISC nurse, you will immerse yourself in a First Nations community where the relationships you build and the connections you make will last a lifetime. As an integral part of the team, you will carry out a full scope of practice and provide a broad range of services unique to northern nursing with ISC. You will work alongside a talented team of nurses, other health professionals, and community members dedicated to delivering quality care in a culturally safe way.
Come for the experience. Stay for the people. Enjoy the rewards.
