About The Royal Melbourne Hospital:

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior leadership role in CT Imaging, as we expand our CT services to include a state-of-the-art photon counting CT scanner embedded in ED. This significant service expansion will transform imaging delivery in emergency care and improve access for our most acute patients.

About the Role:

- In return, you will be supported to;
- Provide strategic and operational leadership of the service to ensure evidence based best practice and contemporary models of care
- Effective and efficient flow of patients through the CT department, ensuring high quality imaging.
- Provide clinical leadership to all staff that work in CT, education to undergraduate, intern and qualified Radiographer’s and ensure compliance with departmental protocols
About you:
Essential:

- Current AHPRA registration through MPRBA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
- Current Radiation Use License (Victorian Department of Health)
- High level of specialist radiographic knowledge in CT
- A passion for continued professional development (CPD)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Digital Literacy
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to develop innovative solutions to problems
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in CT
Desirable:
- Postgraduate CT qualification
- Further education in leadership and management
- Previous experience in working in a senior supervisory role
